Kettering Park Junior Academy

Applications are invited for the post of Cluster Finance Officer for the Inspire Multi Academy Trust.

Reporting to:

Cluster Business Manager


  • Permanent, Term time only 38 weeks (this could possible be increased)
  • Salary: Point 10 – 12 depending on experience
  • Working Hours: Full Time, 37 Hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30 to 16:30
  • Location: The post-holder will be working across three of our academies, so requires some flexibility around travel but will be based in Kettering

InMAT was created in 2017 with a teaching school at the heart of its work, with just 4 schools at that point. We are now a group of 11 primary schools that have joined together to harness the richness of diverse learning communities for the benefit of all pupils.

InMAT seeks to employ an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed individual to work as a Cluster Finance Officer across three of their Academies in Kettering.

The post-holder will not only support the Cluster Business Manager in maintaining financial compliance but will also champion innovation and best practice as the Trust undertakes significant further growth over the next few years.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have finance experience ideally from within a multi academy trust or academy background (although not essential)
  • Be confident using accounting software and be comfortable and enthusiastic about using new and innovative software packages
  • Work proactively, embrace new challenges and have a drive to learn
  • Have the ability to manage their own time and prioritise
  • Be flexible and work as a team player
