The Teach Northamptonshire team is supported by an advisory board which meets termly. Together we champion Northamptonshire as an exceptional place to develop a teaching and leadership career. We support over 300 member schools with a targeted recruitment campaign which helps to attract trainee teaching, qualified teaching and leadership staff to jobs in early years, primary and secondary settings countywide. Our focus is near neighbours and London, where the county’s attractive lifestyle offer is compelling. More than 8,000 applications have been processed via the Teach Northamptonshire Applicant Tracking System since we launched the campaign. Joe Zielinski founded Northamptonshire based Zinc Digital in 2003. Joe’s digital strategy expertise has been key to enabling the Teach Northamptonshire team to deliver an exceptional, above national average return on investment (ROI) for the campaign. A founding director of Key Worker CIC, Joe has supported Teach Northamptonshire since its inception and worked with Kate to enable the successful transition to a membership model in February-March 2019.
A freelance marketer Kate specialises in place marketing and is strategic lead for Northamptonshire’s most high profile place marketing projects; addressing local challenges and suporting place-led change.

HR Manager at Huxlow Science Academy, Karen has been a keen supporter of Teach Northamptonshire since its inception, advising the team on HR policy in schools and bringing to the advisory group significant experience of recruiting to teaching and leadership vacancies in the secondary sector.
Director of the Brooke Weston Teaching School Alliance and Vice Principal of Brooke Weston Academy, Cristina is prominent in the ‘Educating Northamptonshire’ landcape and joined the Teach Northamptonshire advisory
board in April 2019. Cristina brings to the group exceptional experience of teaching school leadership and CPD in Northamptonshire schools.
Headteacher at the Manor School & Sports College, Jay joined the Teach Northamptonshire advisory board in June 2019. His school’s ‘Wellness 55’ charter has informed the development of our new Wellbeing resource for Northamptonshire schools, backed by a countywide commitment to Wellbeing for future teaching and leadership candidates.
Since joining PDET in 2015 Melanie has played a significant role in the trust’s growth; from ten to thirty academies and the journey continues. Melanie is CIPD qualified and has worked in HR for over 20 years. She brings to the group the all-important MAT recruitment perspective.
An experienced HR Manager specialising in the education sector, Nina has supported over 100 schools and academies with all aspects of strategic HR practice.
Nina brings to the group significant experience of building collaborative partnerships in the local education landscape.
