Loatlands Primary School
Loatlands Primary School is situated in the town of
Desborough. We currently have 448 children on roll
across the school and nursery. Our children are well-behaved and enthusiastic learners, they enjoy coming to school and there is a supportive and forward-thinking staff team.
The successful applicant will need:
- A passion for supporting children to achieve the very best that they can
- A caring, nurturing nature and enjoy making a difference in children’s lives
- Enjoy working as part of a team and have great communication skills
- To be calm and patient, firm but fair
- To be able to keep clear and accurate records.
The role is based in our Reception year group, currently with 24.25 hours per week as a general class Teaching Assistant (Level 2), including a half
hour lunch duty on 3 days and a further 5.5 hours per week providing PPA & Management time cover for the Phase Leader.
Whilst our preference would be to appoint one candidate to undertake both aspects, we would also be happy to discuss splitting the role across two candidates. Where you are making an application for one aspect of the post only, please make this clear on your application form.
