Stanton Cross Primary School

Stanton Cross is a new school in the heart of the Stanton Cross development in Wellingborough.  We deliver an enriched, relevant and engaging curriculum which enables children to become knowledgeable, adaptable and confident to reach their own academic potential.   

Eventually, we will educate 420 children in our state-of-the-art building but as we grow, we are opening to one-year group at a time.  From September 2024, we will have classes in Reception and Key Stage 1.  We are a very diverse school with a third of our children speaking more than one language which makes our school a vibrant place to be. 

 We are looking to appoint two teachers for our growing school.  We are adding two Reception classes in September.  This will mean that, in the third year since opening, the school will have classes in Reception and Key Stage 1.   

The successful candidates will join our dedicated staff team ensuring the school continues to provide a high quality of education, meeting the needs of all of our children.  The successfully candidates will have a class teaching responsibility in Reception or Key Stage 1.  As a growing school, we have some flexibility over staffing which means we are able to focus on successful candidates’ experience and strengths, alongside the needs of the school. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an instrumental part in the development of the school in the Stanton Cross community in these formative years.  Teachers will benefit from ongoing support and development through being part of the NPAT family of schools.  

The role would be suitable for applications from ECTs.
