The Governing Body and Executive Head teacher are seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Manager/Early Years Teacher to lead the Early Years provision at Camrose Early Years Centre. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a creative and innovative leader for our Centre.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Head teacher, Deputy Head, staff and Governing Body to provide outstanding learning experiences.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about Early Years and has the ability to build the provision with ‘Fun, Creativity & Achievement’ at the forefront of all planning.

About the role
Now is an exciting time to join Camrose Early Years Centre as we become members of the Federation of four Nursery Schools known as ‘Foundations for Children Nursery Schools Federation.’ The wider Federation (Croyland Nursery School, Parklands Nursery School, Highfield Nursery School and Camrose Centre) will continue to strengthen the Governor Board for the Schools and build on sharing of best practice.
As a member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team and a named DSL, you will participate in the strategic leadership and management of the school and will be responsible for the quality of teaching and learning and safeguarding for the sessional provision term time.
We are looking for a teacher and leader who:
Is an outstanding teacher within the Early Years and already have some leadership experience within their setting.

The leader will have:
The motivation to achieve the very best for the children in our care and be relentless in the pursuit of excellence.
Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills as well as the ability to inspire and challenge colleagues.
Proven experience as an effective good and outstanding classroom teacher.
Have the ability to lead aspects of school improvement and ensure that all children are given opportunities to excel.
Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour.
Passion for creating an innovative, imaginative EYFS curriculum based upon active learning.
Is confident to create a child-centred curriculum and learning environment.
Has successful experience of planning, teaching and assessing in EYFS.
Is able to work closely and liaise effectively with transitioning schools.
Aims to ensure that each individual child’s developmental needs are met, and overcome any barriers to learning.
Works well as part of a team and is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life.

Psychology is our most popular subject at Post 16, with numbers rising each year. We require an ambitious Head of Psychology who will lead and develop the subject, cementing psychology as a key part of our Post 16 offer. This is an exciting new role, perfect for an experienced Head of Psychology, or an expert teacher of psychology who wants to take their first steps into subject leadership.

This is a permanent role starting 1st September 2022.

For the right person this will be a career-defining role. It will suit an accomplished school leader who has a detailed understanding of how to lead school improvement and embed long-term, sustainable good practice into the day-to-day operations of a school. It’s about getting the best from others by setting a definitive sense of purpose and direction, backed up by clarity of accountability and expectations.

Our new Head will be a values-driven person who instinctively innovates from a bedrock of SEN expertise to mine solutions from complex problems, order from disorder (but comfortable in chaos!).
They will be courageous champions of children and families; they will know and understand the landscape of SEN and special schools.
They will have neuroscience embedded in their day-to-day practice and a sharp eye for advances in the specialist methodologies associated with special school learning.
You don’t need to be ‘out-of-the-box’ ready but up for a challenge and eager to push the boundaries.
