We are looking for a Governor to join the Governing Board of Corby Old Village Primary School. Governors play a vital role in providing support to the Head Teacher in maintaining and developing the school’s strategic vision, ensuring accountability and challenging robustly where necessary.
Being a school governor is a rewarding opportunity to become involved in your local community and make a difference to the lives of children.
If your application is successful, you will be invited to attend an informal meeting with our Chair of Governors and Head Teacher where you will have the opportunity to discuss the role further and ask any questions that you may have. If after that meeting there is an agreement from both parties to proceed, our existing Governing Board will be asked to review your application and to vote to confirm your appointment at their next meeting.
