To ensure the long-term viability of the county’s cost effective ‘Teach in Northamptonshire’ campaign, we operate a subscription only model. The subscription period is April to March each year. Discounts are available for early bird subscribers in January-February, get in touch to find out more.

Yes; the system is designed to enable schools to list teaching, leadership, school support, governance, teacher training vacancies and more.

Yes. Please email the necessary changes to info@teachnorthamptonshire.com and we will edit on your behalf. To update the description and other details in your profile please visit support this page * and refer to the ‘how to’ guide and video tutorial for help.

We recommend you add new vacancies each time you are recruiting, rather than changing the details of old ones, so that you can efficiently manage the applicants to each role and understand the level of interest generated.

Yes. All vacancies are automatically added to the Teach Northamptonshire Twitter feed.

Yes. All new vacancies added to the site are shared with jobseekers via the Friday Job Alerts, which candidates sign up to receive.

No. We are not able to offer mid-year discounts. If many in the school community renewed at various points throughout the year the website and broader campaign would not be sustainable, since we don’t receive any government funding or sponsorship.

No. We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) wholly independent of the Local Authorities, set up in 2019 to take forward the good work of the previous campaign which was funded by the County Council and run by the same team that supports the network today.

No. We support the Northants Teaching Schools Network in promoting their events, and are delighted to support any school with the promotion of their own teaching events, but at the moment do not organise any ourselves. These are coordinated by the national Get Into Teaching campaign team.
