This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and young people with special educational needs and who wants to develop a career within SEN education. On Track Education in Silverstone is a 40 place, independent special school for pupils aged 11 to 19 who have a range of social, emotional and mental health difficulties.   It currently has several positions available for support staff to join its established team.


If you have previous experience of working with children, either in employment or voluntary, then a position as a Learning Support Assistant could be the first step for you.  Our Learning Support Assistants work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils as part of a professional team contributing towards meeting the academic, social, behavioural and emotional needs of young people.


If you are already working as a teaching assistant or support worker and would like to move into a teaching role then a Trainee Tutor position is the perfect opportunity for you to gain teaching qualifications whilst developing practical teaching experience in the classroom.


We support pupils to fulfil their potential by, giving them unconditional support; providing them with good quality teaching; empowering them to effectively manage their own behaviour.  Our extensive school premises offer excellent facilities for academic, artistic, vocational and outdoor learning.  The school delivers a motivational and progressive curriculum underpinned by the therapeutic principles of THRIVE®.


Salary is dependent on qualifications, experience and job role but will be in the range £18,533 – £21,260 per annum.  This is the full-time equivalent salary as you will be paid all year round including the school holidays
