GRADE/SALARY: Grade J (Points 27-31) – £33,820-£37,261
HOURS: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Annual Leave Entitlement – 26 days per year
Daventry Hill School is a specialist school which caters for the needs of over 200 pupils from the ages of 4 to 18. Our fantastic pupils have a wide range of needs including PMLD, SLD, MLD and complex learning difficulties; with additional needs such as ASD and SLCN. The school is part of Creating Tomorrow Trust which is a growing Trust supporting schools who believe that children can achieve irrespective of their learning needs.
The school has undertaken a significant transitional phase, recognised by Ofsted, and benefits from a committed Leadership Team with a very clear and strong vision for school improvement. The school recently achieved great success by winning the SEND School of the Year, Headteacher of the Year and the overall School of the Year at the Northamptonshire Education Awards 2022.
About this Role
This is an important and high-profile role to support both the Trust Leadership Team and the School Senior Leadership Team in one or more locations. The role holder will be responsible for leading the implementation and compliance of non-educational functions of the school including Administration, Health & Safety, Facilities (as required) and Finance, in accordance with Trust policy and procedures.

Are you an experienced professional with demonstrable success in managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver excellent levels of service? We are looking to recruit an individual with extensive experience in leading Premises, HR and Administration workstreams. As well as ensuring that day to day operations are managed efficiently, you will play a key role in supporting the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to lead change and establish and deliver programmes of work which ensure the school meets the needs of our staff and students.
The safety and wellbeing of our students is paramount, so we are looking for you to promote the importance of health, safety and welfare in the school. With your team, you will have responsibility for keeping our premises safe as well as developing and implementing administrative and HR processes which guarantee our operations as well as our testing and inspection regimes are compliant with the law.
